Latest News

Hi, I dropped some stuff off to Mari & Rhi this morning. Two immediate specific requests would be that:

1) the 3pm Wed (NZT) biopsy provides sufficient matter to avoid any need for further invasive tests

2)they can get some rest (neither slept last night). Mari would love to get txt messages, doesn't have email access at present, best to chk first via txt b4 visting due to their need for rest.

Rhi thinks the diagnosis may take up to 2 wks, Mari expected to be in hospital for a few days, will update with any further news as rcvd.

Hey Mari,
I put you on my blog so the people passing through can pray for you as well! :) One of my lovely American friends has been praying and sent you a message (she is such a praying woman and lives in Georgia) so this is from Becky:

I read Mari's update. Please tell the family I am praying. If it helps, I want you to know I have a "good" feeling as I look at Mari's photo. Know that God has her in the palm of His very capable, loving, and HEALING hand!

I'll put a prayer request in for her tomorrow at morning Bible Study.

you are on my mind CONSTANTLY. I tried talking Ezra into taking a prayer slot, but he was more interested in eating his play dough. If he does pray I'm sure his prayer is: "chuck it!"
love you...

PS have you decorated that little closet of a room they have you in?... I'm thinking a splash of teal paint on the walls, a hot pink duvet and some soft pillows and throws would really help. :-)

Mari just after I heard I started singing this song for you. It's an old song, but rang true with what I felt for you. There are so many people who are praying and are with you through this babe. If you know the tune sing it.

You'll Never Walk Alone

When you walk through a storm
Hold your chin up high
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm
Is a golden sky
And the sweet, silver song of a lark.

Walk on, through the wind,
Walk on, through the rain,
Though your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart,
And you'll never walk alone,
You'll never walk alone.

Dear Mari
Thinking of you lots and praying. We had the chance tonight to see and hug your dad and pray with him at cell group. Can imagine you there surrounded by flowers and love from lots of people. I pray that Father God will give you a massive strong ' 'hug' that you can't miss. YOu are a blessing to lots of people because of your naturalness and infectious love.

Love from Helen, Pete and Sophie
