Today.

Fortunately, Mari was able to proceed with chemo today ( 11 down,5 to go)! It was a long day, she was in hospital from 10.30 am through to gone 5 pm. Tomorrow, she is due to have an injection, which has some unpleasant side effects - but other than that, she will be resting up over the weekend in bed.
She is really grateful that you continue to read this blog and leave such wonderful messages.
Thank you. It is an encouragement to us all.

We will let you know how she gets on after the next few days ( she has to take 10 plus tablets the day after chemo, so she is fairly drugged up initially for a few days).

Have a great weekend.
Love from us xxxx

Hi Mari

That's a relief, that you have been able to have another session. I pray that they will be really effective, zap those nasty cells, but also that you will recover well from each session. Hang on in there! xx

Hi Mari & all,
Glad to see the week went as planned, and I hope you have been managing OK over the weekend. I'm just back from a week's walking holiday in the Lake District (lucky me!) A little encouragement for you...I was so 'away-from-it-all' I had even lost track of what day it was, but on Thursday I was in the middle of a walk when you suddenly came to mind - I then realised that you were likely to be in the middle of chemo at that moment so was able to pray for you. Just a reminder that God knows your needs, and He who watches over you neither slumbers nor sleeps.
Much love
Rachel x

Hi Mari

By the time you read this the weekend should be over for you. Hope you're feeling better and have got the worst post-chemo days over for this cycle!

Have a good week - hope there are some enjoyable things planned and you feel well enough to do them.

Lots of love,

Raewyn XXXX

I am amazed at how often God brings you to mind throughout the day so I can badger Him about you...not being satisfied until you are restored...

Psalm 118.10-14
All the nations surrounded me but armed with the name of the Lord I defeated them.
They surrounded me yes they surrounded me but armed with the name of the Lord I defeated them.
They swarmed around me like bees but they were extinguished like burning thornbushes.
So armed with the name of the Lord I defeated them. They pushed hard to make me fall but the Lord helped me. The Lord is my strength and my song. He is my Saviour
