Session 14 over

Thanks for your prayers and messages. Mari has just returned home from the hospital. The nurses had problems getting a vein and after several painful attempts and resorting to putting her arm in a bucket of hot water after 40 minutes they found a vein. When the chemo eventually started, it wasn't painful. The nurse told Mari that her veins are tortuous!

There was good news from the X ray, the area of concern after pneumonia was all clear. Although the Consultant said an X ray would not be as specific as a scan, she was encouraged that the mass on Mari's chest is shrinking so we are praying that in the final two chemo sessions, the mass will completely disappear.

Thanks again and we will update you again after the weekend,

God bless

With love

My gosh you are a tough ol cookie Mari - arm in a bucket for 40 minutes, the things you have to go through all in the name of chemo ey? I am so pleased that the chemo was not painful, and that X-ray has brought some encouraging news. I hope that this is keeping your spirits up even though the next few days might be rough for you. COME ON MASS - GO AWAY FOR GOOD, you are not welcome in Mari's body and we command you to shrink in Jesus mighty name! Thanks so much for posting this news, will continue to pray for you. Hope you can all get some good rest over the weekend, sending much love, Lisa X

Hello The Days

Even though it seems like every few days brings another big challenge, its so great to hear that there is some good news.

Lord, please let your healing flood Mari's body and bring even more reduction in the mass - until its all gone for good.

We miss you Mari!

Hi Mari, Dave, Rhi and Phil

Gosh you have endured so much with these veins Mari.

I am just so pleased to hear of the xray results - that is so encouraging. I will keep praying and praying that these last two treatments will completely remove the mass on your chest.

Hope you can recuperate well this weekend.

Lovely to talk to you the other night Dave. Hope all has gone well in Wales Rhi.

Love as Always to you all.

Hi Mari - With the colder weather kicking in I guess that makes it harder to find veins too. My specialist nurse last year used to tell me to use a wheat bag or hottie in the car on the way in to keep the arm warm and make the veins more visible.

Well done on another round over and great news about the Xray result. Shrinkage is good but disappearance is what we are looking and praying for!

Have a restful weekend!

Lots of love as always
