Better than expected.

We wanted to let you know that Mari is doing better than expected this week - thanks for your prayers! So far the side effects have been manageable and less stressful than last time!
This is such a relief and we are hoping this will continue.

She is due to have her next round of chemotherapy on Friday morning, 30th May.

(On another note, She still has her hair but Dr's say it will come out any day so she is checking her pillow each morning, but it hasn't started falling out yet)!

We will keep you updating you...
With our love.

Dear Mari,
So thrilled to hear things are going somewhat smoothly. Continuing to pray that God will comfort and carry you thru all of this. Parying also that the manageable side-effects will continue. Pray that you recover well.

Lots of love, huggs, and all others good things,

Hi Mari, Here's a joke to make you smile.

A Jewish guy called Jacob finds himself in dire trouble. His business has gone bust and he's in serious financial trouble. He's so desperate that he decides to ask God for help. He goes into the synagogue and begins to pray "God, please help me, I've lost my business and if I don't get some money, I'm going to lose my house as well, please let me win the lotto". Lotto night comes and somebody else wins it. Jacob goes back to the synagogue. "God, please let me win the lotto, I've lost my business, my house and I'm going to lose my car as well". Lotto night comes and Jacob still has no luck!! Back to the synagogue. "My God, why have you forsaken me?? I've lost my business, my house and my car, and my wife and children are starving. I don't often ask you for help and I have always been a good servant to you. Why won't you just let me win the lotto this one time so I can get my life back in order???". Suddenly there is a blinding flash of light as the heavens open and Jacob is confronted by the voice of GOD himself: "JACOB, MEET ME HALF WAY ON THIS ONE, BUY A DAMN TICKET"

Lots of love
Jerem and Lyn

Phew! So pleased you are doing better than expected, and an added bonus your hair is not doing what they said it would be doing at this stage! Ha! Tis a good indication that things are not always as 'worst case scenario' as medical people (with the best intentions) prepare us for. Sending you a big smile and a warm hug. Lisa XXXXX

Such good news that you have had less to deal with this week - what a wonderful answer. :)
I have heard a number of instances where people's hair didn't fall out - maybe you will add to their number Mari, that would be great.
Much love,

Linda's cats have their profiles on Facebook! How cute is that? Do they throw tins of cat food at each other?

Continued prayer for the dear Days.
