Purpose of this blog...
Mari has been diagnosed with "Lymphoma Cancer", also known as "Hodgkins Disease".
Mari is expected to need two years of treatment. She is planning on leaving for England very soon to begin treatment there.
Leah Burson is organising ways for care packages to be delivered to Mari, so if you have a treat that you would like to send her to cheer her up please email: leahburson@gmail.com.

Thinking of you and praying for you.
Saw your dad last night - he's doing OK - How you doin?!
Saw the second nicest daughter in the world at the weekend (but don't tell her I said that). She sends her love too and we spent a lot of time chatting about you - couldn't think of anything better to talk about, ha ha!

are you still drugged and dopey? I hope you are'nt feeling too horrible.
I don't know if I should say this....but Erin makes the most amazing coffee cake.... might be able to twist her arm to make you one??? heehee.
It will definitely help you recover, although I do hear Leah has been doing some pretty epic cooking. :)

Hello my lovely Mari,
I hope all went really well this morning - thank goodness they didnt put it off any longer (I am assuming). A tip from me - dont feel guilty about asking for more pain killers - its a hospital! They cant run out! Seriously though, praying for you loads, thinking of you always. So much love,
