Today's Procedures...

It's a huge relief to get today over. Mari had to have the procedures under sedation as it is still too risky for her to have a general anaesthetic. The first procedure wasn't too bad, but the other - removing bone marrow - was extremely painful and had to be done three times altogether. Eventually enough samples were obtained but it was an ordeal. She is home now recovering and feeling sore. Rhi was able to stay with her throughout.

The staff assured Mari she would sleep after and forget everything - but not so...she didn't sleep til later in the afternoon and can remember everything! One really good thing did happen tho...while in recovery Rhi was calling out to God to send help when two people entered the ward. Rhi told them that Mari was in a lot of pain. Mari had the curtains drawn around her bed and Rhi saw thro a gap the woman lifing her hands and praying in Mari's direction against the pain. Mari heard her praying and immediately felt some relief....Thanks to Gloria - if you're reading this for being there at that very moment and for reaching out to our Heavenly Father for Mari.

-Rhi

My turn to pray for you Mari and all your family.... I saw an angel beside you with a wing around your back .. I reckon a comforting angel. I also saw your faith heart and how Gods is well pleased with you. I pray an extra blessed sleep for you and Rhi especially tonight after a huge day.

You poor thing, what a horrible, intrusive day you have had. I'm glad it's all over and they were able to get what they needed. Also pleased your lovely mum was able to be there-nothing beats having your mum being around when your poorly. I pray that you have an amazing nights sleep, and that as you sleep your body, mind, spirit and soul starts to heal from todays trauma. Love you, and you are in my thoughts all day long. Lisa XX

Hi Mari
Im sorry that you had a rough time but ever so happy to hear of angels wings. God has surely placed you on my heart most of the days since you took ill, and John and I continue to ask the Lord to be with you and that you feel His love within, bringing comfort to your heart. Its Friday night now and I hope you are resting well, and that you feel comfortable. Love to you Mari.

Dear Mari
So glad that is over and hope that all of you is peaceful and pain free now.
I dreamed this morning that I was with you in the kitchen at Severn Ridge. You were wearing white trousers like your mum's!

Perhaps they were a shared pair... long trousers on Rhi would be cut-offs on Mari. Two for the price of one!

Just a thought...

I've just been praying for you - reflecting on how many times Jesus healed on the Sabbath. I've just been struck with what this means for you... I'm sure one of the reasons Jesus healed people so much on the Sabbath was to remind us that our healing comes in times of rest, not in working for it or doing a bunch of religious things to get it. Resting in Him is a pretty powerful thing!
love ya,

Hey M,
I had a dream last night that I'd been sent back to Bristol ahead of you to get things ready for your arrival. I'm trusting God for lots of good news for you today - not just permission to fly home! Anyway, we're thinking of you (and Rhi, Dave and Phil) and send our love. Oh and if Martin and Tina read this, you should lock Eilis up til she's at least 40. She's far too beautiful to let out. xx S and co.
