Please keep praying

Mari is still very ill. The Drs think she has pneumonia and her oxygen count is very low. Hopefully the antbiotics she has been on will start to take effect soon and she is already been given oxygen. They are also talking about changing her chemo routine ( presumably giving different drugs) but Mari is reluctant for this. Please keep praying for her as she is very poorly. Tomorrow she will see the consultant haematolgist, being a Bank Holiday the hospital is a bit low on staff so we should know more tomorrow when there are more Drs and specialists around.

Many thanks
The Days and Phil

Hi darling Mari,

Sad to hear about this development, friend, but happy to hear they are so on top of it. Will add prayers for your veins and for rest to those of healing, peace, comfort, protection to you and your loved ones, and more healing. Also sorry to hear that Phil and Rhi do not look quite so fetching in the plastic fantastic! There is a package and a letter in the post for you. Love you heaps and heaps friend! Love to Phil, Rhi and Dave also. We totally stand with you in this, alongside everyone else around the world, and Jesus who intercedes on your behalf also! What could be better than that?! Lovely Mari,
We just wanna give this cancer the bash!

You might remember, the Donald Miller book you kindly gave me has this bit where he talks about there not being a formula to our faith.. and that all the hard bits in life teach us not to rely on easy answers, bullet points or magic mantras - but rather in God's guidance, His existence, His mercy and His love.

I really like coming back to this truth - when I'm tired from trying to hard... Just praying that you (and your support crew) are topped up with new levels of faith that brings you comfort and rest - no matter the situation.

Thinking and praying for you hun, alongside your fan base from around the world - for your full recovery.
Lots and lots of love, hugs and kisses

Just read the last week's updates - boy, things have moved fast! Hang in there and try to imagine that every needle is a secret botox injection so that once you leave there, you'll look 10 yrs younger.
We send you all our love and will continue to pray with all your other friends and family. xx Shalome

I'm thinking of you constantly. Last night I was praying for angels in your room... i've been praying with pictures in my head instead of words (i think because i'm too tired to articulate anything)... anyway, I saw your room full of angels... standing room only. xoxox

Hi there Mari, Dave, Rhi & Phil,
I keep checking this site regularly ...so sorry to hear the latest setbacks for you all. Not the way to spend a Bank Holiday Weekend. Do pray for better news SOON. The NHS certainly needs to upgrade its service to wireless internet to go with the private room and TV. It is now Tuesday morning for you - do hope you have had some sleep and the antibiotics have kicked in giving you some relief from the horrible rigors and sweats.

Love you lots!

Hi just got back from all our wanderings and caught up with all your news. On Saturday as I was on a beach watching the waves I felt e real urge to pray for you all. Felt to pray that just as the waves were billowing over the rocks that Gods love would flow over you all bringing peace. Keep on in there - you are such an example to us all and we are right in there with you. Judy Lloyd and family

Hi Mari, Phil, Dave and Rhi

A further comment as I finish praying tonight - was praying from Pslm 18 vs 16 that God would reach down and pull you from the depths of suffering - that is my prayer that this will be a turning point and that you will never go to this place again. I will be praying this for the next few days.

Much love

Hi Mari

Sorry to hear that all this is going on for you. I work in a hospital and know how awful it is to be an in-patient there. I am thinking of you and hope that the haematologist gives you some positive news. I'd just like to thank you for the support that you've given to my friend, Heather, who is a few months behind you in her treatment and has given her some insight into what to expect in her treatment. We are both thinking of you and hope that you are able to turn the corner soon. Katie Robinson

Just back from the Grapevine conference in Lincolnshire. News reached me there so I've been praying for you over the weekend, and lifting you up to God in the worship. I felt encouraged by the might and power of God to work in your situation. I've asked friends I was with there to pray too. Keep battling - there is a big army out here battling with you!
Much love
Rachel
