This week.

Thank you for all your wonderful messages!
I had a rough week last week. I was also unwell on the weekend ( my temperature kept creeping in to the "danger zone", so I had to keep a close eye on it)! The chemo is definitely getting tougher both mentally and physically. I have been a bit brighter this week and I've even been able to go away for a few days which has been lovely.
I am back in to hospital on Tuesday for blood tests and for my 9th round of chemo!
We will update after that and let you know how it goes.
Thank you for your amazing support and encouragement.
Lots of love, Mari

Hey Mari,

You're doing so well mate, hang in there - we're praying for you!

I know it's sometimes a bit crass to pass on bible verses (!), but a friend shared Psalm 20 the other day at church and it struck a chord, so I wanted to pass it on (from the message) -

"Psalm 20

A David Psalm

1-4 God answer you on the day you crash, The name God-of-Jacob put you out of harm's reach,
Send reinforcements from Holy Hill,
Dispatch from Zion fresh supplies,
Exclaim over your offerings,
Celebrate your sacrifices,
Give you what your heart desires,
Accomplish your plans.

5 When you win, we plan to raise the roof
and lead the parade with our banners.
May all your wishes come true!

6 That clinches it—help's coming,
an answer's on the way,
everything's going to work out.

7-8 See those people polishing their chariots,
and those others grooming their horses?
But we're making garlands for God our God.
The chariots will rust,
those horses pull up lame—
and we'll be on our feet, standing tall.

9 Make the king a winner, God;
the day we call, give us your answer."

Loads of love
Phil and Jen

Dear Mari,

Feel really moved with what you are going through. I'm glad that we don't have to twist God's arm to answer our prayers, we just join with his desire to bring you blessing and healing and revelation. So I join with the lord for snippets of his goodness to be revealed and to comfort you day by day, hour by hour. Love you Mari. Kate Ball

Hi Mari

Thank you so much for updating us despite all you are going through.
I'm glad you could get away for a few days.

I think so often of what it must be taking you to get through this treatment - you are doing so well.
I will be thinking of you through this coming week.

Love to your Mum and Dad - so lovely to talk to them this week.

Heaps of love to you
